Architectural Storytelling
Living Among the Mist
Nestled deep in the lush green valleys of East Bali, Laputa Sidemen stands as a testament to open-air luxury and organic design. Suspended over rice terraces with unobstructed views of Mount Agung, this bamboo sanctuary was designed to blur the boundary between indoor sanctuary and natural landscape. Capturing Laputa required an approach rooted in light, patience, and spatial intuition—documenting how morning mist weaves through open pavilions and how warm golden hour lights up raw bamboo weaves.
The Geometry of Air and Light
Every structural curve at Laputa Sidemen invites interaction with the elements. Our visual coverage focused on the dialogue between built craftsmanship and atmospheric depth. From the sweeping rooflines that mirror the surrounding ridges to the intimate, light-dappled interior nooks, the imagery highlights both the grand scale of the environment and the quiet textures of handcrafted detail.
